The term "science" is too large to be precisely defined. Derived from the latin verb that means to know, it sometimes means "branch of knowledge." The term "political science" falls into that area.

Modern science, on the other hand, deals with knowledge that is uncovered by means of well designed experimentation. Problems that cannot be evaluated using this scientific method fall outside the domain of modern science.

The field of political science makes use of some of the knowledge and tools that come from modern science, but is too subjective to be included among them. Many of its central ideas and principles cannot be tested experimentally.

I think it doesn't have to be explained, in other words, it is self-explanatory from its name one deals with politics, and the other one deals with real (discovering/inventing) science.
