I'm 25 and I'd probably go as far as dating a guy that's 55.

the lioness - if you're 18 why would you be willing to date someone 5 years younger? They'd be 13! Or is that a typo?

I am currently 45. In my lifetime, I have dated people twelve years younger and 15 years older. I would be willing to date anyone who was the right kind of person- thoughtful, mature, considerate, loving- but I wouldn't marry anyone who was more thank 10 years older or younger. It just wouldn't be something I would consider.

Well, I'm 56, so I guess that leaves me out. Damn! Anyway, I've seen women in their 60's, even 70's that still look pretty damn good. But I doubt I'd go much older than that. Besides, when a guy gets a little older, he generally wants a gal atleast a few years younger than he is...

I'm 22, and I'd date someone as old at 40. But, if the man looked like Charles Bronson did at 53, then I'd raise my limit.

Why limit yourself to an age bracket? Open your minds. You can have a egotistic 25 year old who wouldn't appreciate you, probably be unfaithful etc. Or you could have someone within a bracket you hadn't thought of who could make you feel like a million dollars!!

If i have taken a liking in the person, i would ignore the age factor but since this question is about preference, i would say 10-12 years older to me is fine to me. I am 25. But in real life, my bf is 3 years younger to me. So yeah, age isnt the factor.
Cheers!

I'm 22, the oldest would be 28.
Still, when I was 14 I dated for some time a guy of 24 - it was ok still we had problems...

The older I become - more I realize that large age difference is no good. 1. sex. 2. interests. 3. health. 4. life goals.

Imagine that one start his carier, another on pention.

i prefer guys older than me by 10 years. if i get to date someone now, i'm 18, i can date a man as old as 40-45. i'm open-minded. it's not the age but the understanding. i can tolerate young guys 5 years younger than me and that's final. i don't like guys within my age group. i just think that we'll just have lots of tension build-ups and clashes of interests. =)
