Probably no jail time if that's what you mean, unless it's a huge amount of money and the underpayment was intentional. Otherwise, there will be fines, interest and penalties, in addition to paying the actual sales tax.

It is rather rare that such an audit turns into a criminal charge. If you have intentional defrauded the state that may be of concern. In most cases they are happy to get more money out of you than you thought that you owed.

You'll have to pay the taxes you would have owed, plus some kind of monetary penalty, if you just made a mistake. If you filed a fraudulent return deliberately, it could get more serious.
