No! The Dave Clark Five is the forgotten band! They arrived on the coat-tails of the Beatles! How many times do you hear them on the radio? They have a couple good songs! Because is their best!

Not at all - they had many hits, including "Jug Band Music," "Daydream," "Summer in the City," and "Rain on the Roof." My personal favorite is a tune called "My Gal" that didn't make the CD version (it's somewhat off-color) except on the British import. John Sebastian, who spent time in Appalachia studying jug band music before founding the group, is featured in the rock video "Celebration at Big Sur" and he's also remembered for performing the theme song to "Welcome Back, Kotter."

You can't be the world's most forgotten band when you were named to the Rock Hall in 2000. How about, most forgottenband named to the Rock Hall in the year 2000?

I think there's lots of forgotten 60's groups. I wouldn't place them at the top of the forgotten list, necessarily. Oh and I'm a big 60's and 70's music fan. I'm 55!
