I've never heard it said that the Great Wall can be seen from the moon. Some say it can be seen "from space", but that's a myth also.

Many man-made artifacts can be seen from low orbit (or at least their location can be seen because the patterns they create are regular, unlike natural features). Go to Google Earth, look at some cities or major highways, then pan outward and see what the eye elevation is when you lose sight of the object, or lose sight of any sign that it's there.

The Great Wall of China cannot be seen from the moon. Most of the wall is so damaged that it is not a continuous line. The American highways would have a better chance of being seen from space but not the moon. The other object that can be seen from space (but not the moon) is the Great Barrier Reef.

2 things? a continent is a thing and all the continents cann be seen. The wall of CHina can NOT be seen from the moon.

The great barrier reef is a living thing that can be seen from pretty far away, like a fairly high orbit. But even highways can be seen from low orbit.

I already heard this question before, and some one answered that it was the great wall of china and the nile river. But now i do not belived in that answer, in fact the massive land mass that makes our planet earth can be seen when we are at the surface of the moon. I guess they said that great wall and the nile river can be seen from the moon because of the fact that they are the earth's longest part.
