On trips, always the passenger. I always fall asleep on long trips. Plus I like to read if I'm going to be in the car for more than 15 minutes straight, and this interferes with my driving. ;<)

Id rather be a passenger with the exception of when my hubby is driving, then I want to be nowhere near any object within 5 miles of him and his driving
