I agree to check your corporations policy. It will help avoid any potential awkward situations.

Personally, I give down as an individual and up as part of a group. Meaning I give to the supervisors that work for me each a similar gift from just me, but I pitch in money to buy my boss something as part of a group. That way nobody seems like a brown-noser.
