Not sure really, i mean he was always injured weren't he?

On the other hand he was good when he did play, but he was another professional diver aswell. Chelsea got a good amount for him and Real gained a good player, so they both gained in the end.

Robben was always injured and uncommitted. His leg is giving him plenty of problems and we see little of him over the course of the season. With Chelsea's huge expenditure, the last thing they need is a frequently absent player who is brilliant for some time, before breaking another leg and go out for a few months. He is unwilling to play through the pain barrier for the team, something the Chelsea dressing room value very much for team spirit. Robben is a brilliant player, but there was little reason for Chelsea to keep him, now that Wright-Philips has risen through the ranks.

im suprised by chelseas fans negative reaction to robben since he's been sold, maybe its just because he didnt show loyalty to them and just went wherever was offering him the most money.

i thought robben was the worst diver in the premiership, he might have won pen's and fk's but most the time by blatantly falling over and rolling 10 times, his team would lose possesion or miss an attacking opportunity, and the refs would know of his diving antics. its a player of such talent would result to such negative tactics.

i do think he provided them with something special though, he could be brought and do something amazing, get past defenders and be the difference between a win and a draw. i dont think wright phillips or malouda have this ability, to change games by themselves. i think joe cole does though and i find it such a shame that a player of his talent and ability spends most his time on the bench

Robben is a good player, but didn't want to play for Chelsea.

After he decided he didn't want to be there he didn't put in much effort, and there's no point having players who aren't going to give their all.

from chelsea point of view, a dreadful idea, but as i m a real madrid fan, i shuld be happy with the selling of arjen robben, as i think he is a great great left winger..

I THINK CHEALSE DOESNT NEED HIM CAUSE MORENHO PLAYS WITH FORMATION DOESNT INCLUDE A LEFT WING FORWARD LIKE ROBBEN AND ROBBEN IS OFTEN INJURED AND JOE COLE IS TAKING HIS PART IN THE TEAM AND I THINK WITH SHEVCHENKO JOE COLE DROGBA ROBBEN DOESNT HAVE A PLACE !

BUT ROBBEN IS VERY TALENTED PLAYER HAS SKILL SPEED , DRIBBLING AND I THINK REAL MADRID
WILL GET ADVANTAGE BY SIGNING HIM

HOPE I HELPED
