I'm just curious.
I have:-
A guide to Jackson Pollock (I love him)
Forgotten Voices by Max Arthur (real stories from the WWI veterans, funnier than you'd think)
The Alchemist by Paolo Coehlo (friends have been nagging me to read this for a while, though it seems like a lightweight Gabriel Garcia Marquez so far - only read a couple of chapters)
Emily Dickenson selected poetry (love her)
John Keats selected poetry (I'm feeling a bit mushy)

I don't often to go, this has been perhaps the first time this year.
Like you I was actually going to get out "Forgotten Voices of WW2" though I fell for "D-Day stories" instead. I also wanted, I can't remember now, it had the word "Tommies" in the title and dealt with poetry, though I couldn't find that anywhere.
Also
"The Competitive Runner's Handbook"
A book I'd never buy because I don't think you can every really absorb every page, yet find the chapters that appeal to you.
I also contemplated
"Barefoot Soldier"
Though I don't like getting too many books out as I know I won't read them all!

"Indian Killer" by Sherman Alexie,
"The Big Sleep" by Raymond Chandler,
"Evan Blessed," by ___,
"All the Pretty Horses" by Cormac ____,
"Black Hawk Down" by___(not a "movie" book) (I only read a few chapters though) and that's it for now!

None. I rarely take books out on my ticket. I mostly borrow cd's & dvd's.
My son has the Gruffalo, Kipper's Monster and Room On The Broom, though.
Himself has a load of audio books, mostly military themes.

I just took some back today, but I still have Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini out along with one of JK Rowling's biography's, and also Ian McKellan's (Gandalfs) biography and it's a fantastic read. I just read that he was gay! kind of shook me a bit, but a fab actor and total respect to him.
