you have to expect a lot from yourself, before you can expect the people around you to do anything for you.

I don't expect anybody to do anything, but i am glad when I see them challenge themselves, show common courtesy, and practice common sense...especially people out in the public. I hate when you see people drop stuff at a store, look down and notice, but don't bother to pick it up (people who let inserts fall out of magazines when they rifle through them at bookstores). Also parents that don't give a crap about their kids making a mess at stores. Lastly the way some people behave at restaurants...they can be total d***s to the servers. This and alot of family observations has made me lose faith in mankind.
