the best way? do it slowly. the worst thing you can do is crash diets. and bear in mind, don't ever let your body get to thinking that you're putting it on a diet, meaning, eat a little of everything, chew slowly, use a small plate or spoon or fork. then chew thoroughly... if you need to have good exercise, then, do it for the rest of your life...stopping after getting the results would result to heavier consequences.... don't eat anything between 6pm and 6am....eat heavily on breakfast with lots of high fiber foods, less salt and sugar and oils....

then, look for good supplementation.. detoxification products....and u know what, i did that 4 years ago, and i lost 85 lbs.! in one year time, my waistline? from 42 inches to 31 inches! how about that? and of course, self-discipline, self control and perseverance....don't rush things...long-term goals need slow but sure methods... all of these is useless if you don't cooperate, get it?

Best way is to join a local Gym. they will work out a program for you and some will even help you with an eating plan. I joined up about 18 mths ago and have lost about 20kg and put on a good amount of muscle as well.
It takes time and hard work but well worth it. You will feel fitter, better about yourself and have more energy.

remember to set yourself goals that are not to far ahead. Step by step and keeps at it. Find a gym buddy and you can motivate each other.

Getting into shape is not a problem. Doing it fast is not so easy. Take in less calories than you use will cause a loss of fat. Regular exercise will raise your level of fitness. Getting a six pack requires more intensive work. Swimming and walking will get you fit, combined with eating healthily, a gym is the only way to build muscle.

Well, give yourself a chance and drop the idea of doing it fast. Bodybuilders take years to develop their bodies. Football players also train for years... in fact all athletes do.

Give yourself at least 12 months and start lightly so that you do not injure yourself. Start with cardio workouts 4 times a week for 45 minutes each... running, rowing, bike are best.. the important thing is to get uncomfortable.. build up your heart muscle.

After three weeks add weight training 3 times a week to your routine. Lunges, squats, deadlifts, bent over rows, upright rows, push ups, crunches, reverse crunches, bench press.

Then your diet.. no soda.. eat fresh fruit and vegetables and grilled meat. You will notice differnces after 3 weeks.. after 6 monhts you will feel like a new man and after 12 months you will look like one!
