No. It would have been tragic regardless, but an attack on the capital would have left us with diminished leadership. I understand that it's great fodder to lambast leaders and those in power, but they perform an important function.

Wow. Way to bring about peace. You people astound me. I am never going to answer a question in the political section of this forum again. This is the last one. I may be a Republican and not a Bush Republican, (I didn't even vote for the man in the primary,) but I do not, cannot and will not ever advocate the killing of any human being. You're asking if it would have been better if the Capital hwd been taken out and all the politicians killed?
It would have been better if none of the planes had taken out any of our buildings or killed any people at all.
Unfortunately, that's not what happened, and that's not the way it works. Supposition and thoughts about the destruction of our nation's capital and the unthinkable horror of a plane hitting it, bringing about human tragedy of a proportion that could not be imagined is not the place to start if you're looking to create peace.

I vote for none of the innocent ones getting killed. It's just to bad that those 19 terrorists didn't strap on some explosives and jam themselves into a phone booth.

There is no choice in that question. When innocent people die from the hands of terror, neither is my choice. By giving people a choice on who they prefer to die, you are speaking the language of terrorists.

Don't EVER post anything like this again....you never know who is reading this site. And, frankly, I think you should feel it would have been better if none of it ever happened!

No. I think it would have been better if no one had been killed that day.
