well, my aim is getting high by just getting by. lighten up your load and just glide on down the road. preferably to the nearest pub and sing and joke with friends. yeah, am addict for "keeping up appearances" reruns just to see onlso deal with his problems. i guess i try to follow him as a role model. just gliding under the pressure and problems. feel pretty good tonite.

Hi,
I am a cross between doing things and the "Onslow" approach to to life. Heck, if my car puffs and pants near a pub, no problem. But I don't drink and drive.
I am doing an "Onslow" right now, in that I can't be bothered to operate my little office, as I am off to the eye-check department at the local hospital, and will then go for lunch at the nearest pub.
I would rather be an "Onslow" than a Richard every day.
So yes - a true hero.

I like that programme too. I think the thing about Onslow is that he doesn't so much 'deal' with his problems as he completely refuses to have them. I suspect though that in real-life Daisy might have kicked him out by now. There is a hilarious Christmas special where they win a cruise on the QE2, and he scrubs up really well.

Assuming your not taking his physical appearance into your role model i do see where your coming from. I would think you could do allot more with your life than this though
