Antigone loved life and hated death. Nonetheless, Creon convinced her to try opiate drugs. Creon hated everything and wanted Antigone to suffer the way he had. After Antigone became addicted to the drugs, Creon dumped her for the woman he would marry.

Creon expected his son to become a physician and pull the family out of poverty. Haemon wanted to be a doctor, though his father was an artist. Creon was sure he could convince his son to study medicine, but Haemon was very resentful of his father, feeling that his own father was lazy and a loafer, as well as a beggar.

Haemon, ultimately ran for public office. He was never happy, because he never gained his father's approval and he also never became a physician. Ultimately, after losing his bid for a public office, Haemon killed himself.

Creon's son, on the other hand, did become a physician and, in contrast to Haemon, Creon's son healed many people. One died, while the other continue to bring life to the world.

I don't have a book on hand, so you will have to find these passages, yourself.
