x^2y + xy^2 = x(xy + y^2)
xy + y^2 = y(x+y)
So the expression can be rewritten as
x(y(x+y)) x+y
you take it from there.

(x^2 y+x y^2)/(x+y) = (x x y + x y y)/ (x+y)... because x^2= x times x and y^2 = y times y... so (x x y + x y y)/ (x+y) = [(xy)(x+y)]/ (x+y)... you can take out a xy from the top because each term on the top has an xy.... basically (x x y + x y y) = (x y)(x + y).... after that, the top and the bottom both have the term x + y, so you can cancel them out... altogether, the process looks like this:
(x^2 y+x y^2)/(x+y) = (x x y + x y y)/ (x+y) = [(xy)(x+y)]/ (x+y) = xy

Try to factorise the top line so that one of the terms is the same as the term on the bottom line. Then these two terms cancel each other out.
Clue:
There is an "xy" in both terms on the top line

factor out an x * y from the numerator to get

( (x * y) (x + y)) / ( x+ y)

the x + y in the numerator and denominator cancel out and you are left with x * y as the simplified solution

Factor out the common monomial factor:

xy ( x+y)
-----------
(x+y)

Cancel out (x+y)

It will result to xy

so the answer is xy

5x/(x-x^2)=5x/x(a million-x)=(5x/x(a million-x)) circumstances (a million-x)= 5x/x=5 element out an x from the (x-x2) to get x(a million-x). then multiply precise and backside by ability of (a million-x); and it cancles out. u r left with 5x/x. divide out the x to get 5.

=xy
