I love Karen's voice too !
She had such a soothing voice that seems motherly to me.
I know I'm being a bit "haywired" but hey , this is my opinion !

I love Karen's voice. It's a shame what happened to her. She had the most delicate voice and she knew how to control the vibrato so good.
