I was told from Vitamin World, that Whey Protien is okae to take while breast feeding. any advice?

a lot of things in the vitamin and nutrition stores are not FDA approved, and not well regulated. I would not do it unless the Pediatrician says to.

I did a little research about whey protein and what I found was that it was OK to take while nursing, but I would still get some advise from a Doctor. Are you using it to control appetite or for sugar cravings? That is what my research was for anyway.

Be careful with excess protein in the diet... my doc recommended against it. I would talk to your pediatrician just to make sure it's okay before consuming it.

I think that before you take anything you should talk to either your OBGYN or child's pediatrician to see if it's not harmful for your baby. Before I take anything I always call the ped.
