I have purchased 375 Grams of Epsom Salts (Magnesium Suplate) and i have heard you can using it in a ratio of 2:1 (2 parts salt and 1 part sugar) to make a smoke grenade. I really need to know because i cant buy saltpeter here in australia:)

If I could buy KNO3, I wouldn't be making smoke grenades with it. Your are free to make a small lot of the MgSO4/sugar mix and try it out.

No, epson salts don't burn. You need saltpeter which is sold as a fertilizer under the name ammonium nitrate all over the world. you can buy it in 50 lb bags.P.s. don't fool with things that you don't understand the chemistry of... you can blow off your hand or worse.( my nephew had a friend who made a pipe bomb, he lit it and threw it into a trash bin, after two minutes he stuck his head in the bin to see what went wrong. it blew his fool head off and my nephew is one lesson smarter but one friend short)

Mixing epsom salt and sugar wont give you a smoke bomb. Back to remedial chemistry for you.
