You can be, it would depend on the situation, if your spouse was in a coma or vegatated state for years, or permanently handicapped, or in prison for life, you would still be committed to them, but some people would look elsewhere for the physical relationship, but that is just my opinion, i am not saying that its right, because personally, a commited relationship is full no matter the physical limitations on either person

In my opinion, NO. One person may be committed to the relationship but the one committing adultery, not so much. One half of a relationship does not make a whole. People cheat for many reasons. None of which make any sense to me, btw. If you are not morally committed to the relationship, which means, that you might think about cheating but you don't because you know it's wrong, then you are not committed to the relationship. Dishonesty and deception only serve to tear apart a relationship. If a person is committed to a relationship, this is the last thing that they want to do. Once the trust is gone or damaged it's not probable, if not impossible, to regain that same trust. What is love without trust? It isn't.

What?
Adultery means you have sex with someone besides your spouse.
If you are both single........adultery isn't a word to use.

Most adultry acts don't involve love. If they do it rarely works out.

I often wonder why people get married if they can't be faithful.
Why bother with marraige

Once the act is done, it's no longer a commitment

I think the key word here is "committed" and if you are adulterous, maybe you should be.

Seems to me "relationships" are relative..so who am I to judge?
