once they foreclose your home, the bank will pay itself, (their loan amountj). the rest is yours, if you owe credit cards, better pay those off or they hound you forever, you will have to start fresh (no credit whatsover) some banks will never give you credit or credit at sky high interest rates, you can start renting for a while pay everything on time and after 7-10 years maybe, maybe you can buy another home. If you have a business, a job, dont lose it.
