Yes, when I first came to Australia, it seems mostly the people i met smiled at me & greeted me hello!but now that I live here almost 20 yrs. now looks like the smiling face comes to a halt.They think they saw my face all the time in the shop especialy that they don't bother anymore.How could you think that the special people who are always pleasing everyone is gone somewhere(literally) because smile is hard to come by unless you know the person yourself.

Yes, There's a older security guard at the bank of America I go to that makes you smile all the time and feel like you've know him all your life even though he just holds the door open for you. He's defiantly on my Christmas card list this year.

That rarely happens and if it did I would be very surprised but accepting of it b/c we can use a good smile. Works wonders for the soul.

It surprises me when anyone tries to!!! I have a friend who does it all the time but I guess it is her herself....she makes me happy and that is a first for me!!!! She had asked me why my friends have more wrinkles than I do. I told her it's because I don't smile. She said yes you do, I see you smile all the time. I told her it was because of her that I do and it will because of her I get wrinkles!!!!!!

Sometimes I do get surprised, but it is always nice when strangers do anything to help someone, especailly smile=)
