For example, about once a week I just so happen to look at the clock at 4:21. It's been happening a lot, and when I ask people I know what they think, they just think it's funny. I know it's not just me I've seen other questions on here similar to this and I talked to my mom and she say she sees 7:13 all the time which is my b-day. I REALLY just want to know the scientific name for this. So I can look this up and try to figure this out.

The closest thing I know for what you're talking about would be "synchronicity" by Carl Jung. Synchronicity is closer to what we call a coincidence, but Jung saw it as something deeper. I hope that helps

All of us know that it is called coincidence. These
things happen to some persons. I will tell you my
personal case.

I go to library to search for information on a topic.
I go to that subject rack. I take out a book casually
and open a page. The topic for which I came
to the library appears on the opened page. For
the first hundred times it occurred, I have noted
all the details in a notebook. After the number
crossed 150, I stopped noting down. By now,
it has occurred more than 300 times.

The Hinduism says that Karma of some persons
make them experience some para-psychological
events in their life. It may not become a special
gift so that they can become masters of some
thing. It can be a casual occurrence.

The Upanishads say that such occurrences make
people realize the Almighty personally.

The brain actually has a built in timer. You're remembering a number or series of numbers and it's not a coincidence that you look over at the clock when it hits that time.

You were probably watching the clock on and off and not realizing it until it hit "the numbers".

Ever since I saw the George Lucas movie THX 1138, I see 11:38 on the clock ALL THE TIME.

OH my gosh! Same thing happens to me. I see 9:11 all the time! My mom always sees 222. Kinda weird, scary? I don't know! Let me know if you find any answers.
