Where do you draw the line ?
Keeping teens under control should be the job of the parents. Not all people roaming the streets at night and causing trouble are young teens - there are a lot of 18/19 year olds involved ( and older) so where would the age be set.? They would sneak out through windows etc anyway and I suppose the answer to that would be tagging, then ID cards then people would be getting stopped all the time to have their papers checked.
Sound familiar ?
Turning the country into a fascist state is not the answer, we need better policing and a criminal justice system geared towards punishing the crime not justifying it ( ah but he comes from a broken home/ has a drug problem/ was abused as a child - a lot of other people have these problems but don't get any help and don't feel the need to wreak havoc on the streets.)

I think it is a great idea, It would also help parent too. I had a time limit for my boys coming home at night. but you always heard of other boys allowed out later. If every one had to be in at the same time there would be no problem . and the only ones out after curfew would be the ones flaunting the law and looking for trouble.

there shouldn't be a curfew that is dictated by the government it should be up to the parents to make sure their children are off the streets at a reasonable time.

Bonjour madam
depends where you live, the goverment needs these people, to keep a class system going and keep certain people ignorant in society, its double stds by them, so bottom line is all this curfews asbos failure including policing failure justicifies the id cards and more maniuplative and controling lawas by the goverments in society.

Well if you put a curfew out, they got to enforce it to make it work..You just can't pick the kid up and take him Home so he can do it again..Need to lock his @ss up a couple of days to make him see they are not playing...

Pressure cooker without safety valve is danger to users.
Law without curtailment is useless.
But too much dependent only on Law has little use and does not have lasting effect.
society, Homes, shchools colleged, churches where youths are not respected , listened, have to See them on Roads doing Rowdism.
