I ask my questions at night and resolve them when I wake up. And I try never to ask more than about 5 at a time, that way they don't pile up on me. You're right, I hate it when questions go to a vote.

Mine haven't done that yet. I usually pick an answer pretty quickly tho... People don't usually answer mine as much as I would like, so I just go ahead and choose after a few days.

Yeah, but I usually have a calender that tells me when my questions are due to expire; also, i make sure that when I ask a question, I extend it immediately as it is posted (not that this will help you now, but hopefully in the future of your asking questions).

I have seen this before when people have multiple accounts, they forget to sign in and check email messages for the Heads Up email.
