Since Jan. of 2006, there were over 8000. Is that an indication that we are failing miserably on the "Global War on Terror"??

It simply means that the Free World must now take a stronger stand against terrorists by removing several of their rights under the constitution. We need to do this because if we keep on the same course that we are on now, we will suffer greater defeats at the hands of our enemies. More young soldiers dying on the battlefields and thousands of innocent civilians being attacked and killed by these suicide bombers, worldwide.

We need to take off the gloves and put these terrorists where they belong and where they want to go, in the ground!

Dead men Tell No Tales!

Anytime someone straps a load of explosives to their own body and then walks into a crowded public area and blows themselves up, killing hundreds of innocent people, the Rules of Engagement must be changed so that better tactics can be used against these groups before they are able to promote additional deaths from the populations.

As long as there is public outcry over the treatment of captured terrorists and their supporters, we will not be able to win this final war against evil, and where do you think all your hard won liberties and freedoms will go when and if the terrorists win this war? Right down the shitter is where!

Then, being the complainer that you are, try complaining to the terrorists about what they can and can not do to you and watch how fast these people put a new bullet into your head.

I strongly suggest that all the complainers about how these scumbag terrorists are being treated, start toeing the line and start supporting your own governments in this crucial war against terrorists, NOW, before its too late and you no longer have any rights, any freedoms or any country to call home.

Think about what I have just said, you won't get any second chances.

Thank you,

Inconclusive evidence since the records only go back to 1998 for domestic and international terrorism. Cause and effect can not be effectively determined. Is the increase a "true" increase or an anomaly? True, there is an increase. But, unless qualitative research is conducted how can we prove "that we are failing miserably on the "Global War on Terror""?

I will agree that is an increase in the incidences of terrorism.
I can not agree or disagree on the cause and effect of that increase.

Could be that their was an increase in the population of the world. Or a decrease in the education level of some countries. I do know one thing... With the globalization of the world, terrorism will increase before it decreases. Change creates a fear of losing what one "has" or creates a fear of "not getting" what one wants. Isolationist nations will loss in the globalization of the world.
