Isn't Utah mostly a Mormon state?
Sorry but that wouldn't work for me because I don't believe in Religion.
I believe in God and I believe in Jesus our Lord and Savior.

What about Kentucky?
Is that a Conservative state?
Would I be allowed to have a rocket launcher if we moved there?
I hear you can have any kind of fire arm you want in the State of Kentucky is that true?

Cadisney
The Mormons do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah sent here to save the world from His Father in Heaven.
And I think their entire belief system is strange and bazaar.
I don't believe in organized religion because in my opinion organized religion has nothing to do with worshiping God but has everything to do with worshiping the religion.

What in the world does your religious beliefs have to do with whether or not Utah is a conservative state??????????????????????????????????????????

You dont believe in the mormon religion so they cant be conservative????

And I dont even agree with the answer that Utah is the most conservative, but your response makes zero sense whatesoever, except to take a shot at mormons.

Your question was what is the most conservative state and you rejected Utah as an answer because it has mormons. Again, what in the world does your disbelief in their religion have to do with whether or not the state is a conservative state. Conservative is not a religious belief system. Most people very much consider Utah to be a rather conservative state based on the states VOTING record. I still dont see how in the world a religious belief denies you the ability to be conservative just because you dont believe in that religion.

and bytheway, your wrong absolutely wrong about what mormons believe. The church of JESUS CHRIST of latterday saints, aka, the mormons, believe that God sent his son down to atone for the sins of this world and mormons most definetly believe that Jesus is the saviour of the world and that because of the atonement we can now return to live with our father in heaven. The thing mormons dont believe in is the trinity. I am mormon so I can tell you straight off that you have their beliefs wrong. We believe in Jesus as our savior, we just dont believe that God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost are one person. We believe they are one in PURPOSE. The Bible says over and over and over again that Jesus is the son of God, so its not that far off to not believe in the trinity and it doesnt make mormons non christian or non conservative.

I don't know but I know Utah has the reputation of being very conservative.

Just for your information. Mormons do believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah sent here to save the world. Eventhough your question was politics and not religion.

Idaho might qualify. Is completely "Red" politically i.e., Republican Governor and State Legislature. All Senators and Representatives are Republicans. Has not swung to the Dark Side i.e., the Democrats in any Presidential election going on 40+ years - 70% of the state went to Bush in 2004.

I heard Idaho was but then again they kept electing Larry Craig so who knows. Maybe it's more Republican than it is conservative.
