I wanted to call my daughter Gertrude so i could call her Gertie.....when i tell her this story she cringes

I wanted to name our first born, Kimberly. But every girl baby
in the baby ward had that name, and I was so shocked. So
we had to come up with something fast. So we decided on
April.
I wanted to name our son, Michael, but my hubby didn't like it.
So we ended up with Mark. My grandpa had heard we were
going to name him Michael at first, and continued to call him
that for awhile after I'd brought him home. LOL.
