People who haven't read the book think the worst of it.
It makes a lot of sense actually. It makes you aware of the positive ways we can use to respond to a situation -- instead of unconsciously being critical, judgmental, controlling or trying to 'teach' the spouse our way of doing things.

i agree with this way of thinking to an extent. for a healthy minded women wanting to better respond to her husband with out barking out demand's is a great start (reading a book on it)

however there are women out there who have low self esteem or who are inexperienced in relationships' and will take this book as a bible. and this my friend is not good. it will bury her and the man will be living upon a throne. you know as well as i know that there a lot of men out there looking for a low self esteem women who will worship the ground he walk's on.

i personally wouldnt want a puppy. i'm a straight women but if i were a man i wouldnt's want a slave. i want someone to lift me up to my best potential and the only way that could happen if i was feeling good about the relaionship i'm in a healthy relationship based on respect and strength of love, true love.

i know some one now who has low esteem and is new to relationship's. her man is about 5 year's older then she. and she's so occupied becoming the perfect women for her man that she's cutting her self. so you can see where this is not good. and he just has her limb's on string's like a puppet having fun at her expense laughting at her.

good for some devistating for other's.
