i always say i wood love to find a friend that likes some of the things i do (music, clothes, tv, hobbies) but wen someone i know gets interested in something i already liked, i seem to get all mad. not at them, it just sort of annoys me and i dont know why. anyone care to explain?? :(

sounds like u do have a problem..but i get it sort of. You seem like that person that wants to be the only person doing something..which is your thing. You want to introduce them to something and have them be like wow!!! instead of the: yeah i already know about that

How about you are jealous because some friends will always know more than you on a specific subject. Make more friends, and some will know less and some will know more. Its just life.

maybe you are the competitive type of person...you don't want anybody else to be better in anything you do...you don't necessarily want to be mean and you arent even aware that you are doing it...its just that when someone shows that she knows a lot about the things that you like too...your competitive side emerges...

You are just jealous. Think of it a differnt way. Feel proud that you were able to introduce them to things that you enjoy, instead of begrudging them for expanding their horizons. You may be able to learn something from them too!!
