I think the important thing is to be sincere. Don't overdo it, they might think you are making fun of them, and don't say nothing, for odvious reasons. But always be sincere. Don't say something unless you are interested, or want them to know. And just refill with whatever you feel is right, it should probably be connected somehow, but if someone wants to talk about a cirtian subject, they will let you know by bringing it up more than once. Just let it flow naturally if you can.

Give back in your own way. Or more so, give to those who cannot reciprocate or return your favor. This is more fulfilling than giving to one who can give it back. It doesn't necessarily mean that you give the same of that which you have received. It could be another which they are short of. Others they need which probably you have lots of. We all take care of one another; as this was what we were instructed in the past. Only in this way can we say that our cups or glasses have been truly filled.

I would be a friend first
I would be a brother forever

If I do not know or have what they need,
and when wealth is something I do not have

I would give them my time,
I would give them my heart,
I would give them my hugs,
and I would give them my prayers.

I would offer them the warmth from my modest hearths
should they feel the cold
I would offer them my simple mat and bedstead
should they need to rest a weary head

When it is my glass they fill
I will toast them with my life
And I would tip my glass to their lips
So we would share the liquid inside…

Something new. If they have shared I would hope they shared something that is new to me. Even if they haven't I would still share something new. We learn and grow by attempting to understand that which we don't already. I'd hope to help others learn and grow and look to gain the same from them.

I refill theirs by offering them whatever I have in the house - hoping that I have something that they will enjoy. Pax- C
