1. A woman should take care of herself physically and emotionally.
2. Be open and honest to your spouse.
3. Be able to compromise and understand other peoples needs. Dependable.
4. Show appreciation for the ones that love you. Don't take things for granted.
5. Love life!

1. Unconditional love. Love that can conquer anything. It sounds like a cliché, but it is sound advice. Once you have taken the vows of marriage, it is a lifetime commitment. Those words spoken in the ceremony are a sacred vow to each other. Have fun!
2. Be spontaneous. Do not be the woman who plans the next day’s meal as she is setting the table for dinner at 6:30 for the umpteenth time. Go on walks with each other. Talk...about anything and everything. Buy yourself a chocolate bar as you check out at the grocery store. Watch a sport you know nothing about. Have fun!
3. Be assertive. If you want something, get it. Be reasonable of course, but if your not going into bankruptcy or don't have an income do so carefully. Women's desires and wants are as important if not more important to men's. Go to the spa, indulge in an occasional day off to do as you like. Go to the movies; surprise your husband at work. Have fun!
4. Be flexible. In any relationship there will be differences. It is how we give and take with the differences that determine how successful your marriage will be. Men need to learn how to listen, not just hear...listen. Listen with both your ears and your heart. The same is for women. Be there for him. Men are lousy at opening up to inner feelings. The actions of both people in the relationship vary, but the couples who are more flexible last longer. Have fun!
5. Be sexy. No I am not just talking about sex. It is how a woman carries herself. Any woman has this inner beauty that exudes from deep inside and it shows. It doesn't matter what race you are, how tall you are, what scent you wear, how you wear your hair, if you have make-up or not, heels or no heels, swimsuit or business suit, which brand of clothes you wear, what size dress you wear, how much money you make, just be sexy. the_silverfox hit it pretty much on target, but it has to work both ways as well. A man can't expect things from a woman and then go out and do the opposite himself. Both must see each other as 1/2 of a world and in order to survive they must become one.
Open and honest communication is essential to a lasting love that gets beyond the physical aspects, plus keeping things fresh by doing new things together don't hurt either.
