I don't. I love middle eastern people. My country and countries like Iran have had similar struggles.

No I do not hate Muslims as a group at all there are some very good people that are Muslims. As far as being Afghans no I do not dislike Afghans. I do dislike radical Muslims and the way that some Muslim nations treat and view women. That makes me very angry. I happen to have a crush on a Muslim girl now. She is very sweet and polite. So no as a group I do not dislike either. I to hate with a passion the radical Muslims, and of course the Taliban, but that is all. There is nothing wrong with being Afghan or Muslim as far as I am concerned.

I think that you need to understand the "overestimation effect".
Getting information regarding any matter, here being "hate of Muslims/Afghans" from the newspaper, TV, radio tends to make all people believe that the issue is true. Increase the number of instances where the issue is discussed and the belief is strengthened.
In actuality , what is reported is just a fraction of the entire span of how people feel about Muslims/Afghans.
Do a search for "overestimation effect" for a more complete explanation.

please do not think that everyone hates Muslims or Afghans we do not. In truth I have never met either as I am from a small rural town in Illinois, but I would like to think that people would judge you as an individual and not as a group. If they do then they are wrong and have not learned anything from our own history. I hope you find some nice people (that are not suffering from ignorance) to represent our great United States of America as we are not all bad. Just remember that if you love yourself then you will always have at least one person that truly loves you.

I was married to an Iranian Muslim for 17.5 years. I had (have) the best mother-in-law in the world. My adult son identifies himself as "half Muslim and half Christian." I would say that I DO NOT hate Muslims, and since Afghanis and Iranis are essentially the same people, like Canadians and Americans are essentially the same people, I don't especially hate Afghanis.

I think there are groups that push that thinking. And I am ashamed that some of them are in the U.S. I wish it were different but, so many Americans are out of touch with your religion they don't like you(generally) because the don't understand you. People fear what they don't understand. As far as Afghans are concerned I think most of us Americans don't recognize different nationalities you are all middle eastern. Sorry for our ignorance and I hope you can find people like me in you community that don't dislike anybody but hate mongers(American or otherwise) Good luck!

I dont hate Muslims because i have no reason to ever hate an entire group of people. Hating a group in general is foolish. Every group has bad people in it, that's just they way everything is. Some Christians are bad, Whites can be bad, everyone can be bad, but it doesnt mean that the entire group should be classified that way.

I do not hate them at all. I actually admire them. Now, I think some Afghans are better than others, but that is their way of life.
I am Cuban and German and I am CONSTANTLY criticized for liking Fidel Castro and Hitler. I live in America, I was born in America, and I am an American. I do not like Castro. I have a bumper sticker that says "No Castro. No problem." and I absolutely hate Hitler for what he did to those innocent people.
So no, most of us do not hate you, your way of life, or your color. It's just some people think they are better than others.
My father constantly says the N word and calls them bad people along with the Mexicans. I hate him for being racist. I only have to live with him for 4 more years. I have had to live with this racist piece of **** for 14 years.
I am truly sorry that you think that way and I hope you do not hate Americans.

Muslims are kind and decent people...
i was raised Catholic and felt the need to study other religions (Judaism, Islam, etc.) and although there are a few things i don't agree with (the treatment of women in quite a few Muslim nations) i don't feel that Islam in general is the culprit...
