Two good ones would be:
'Hard to Say' by The Used (Not actually about a breakup. His [Bert's] girlfriend died of an overdose along with their unborn child.)
'Better Than Me' by Hinder

I know there's way more, but a lot of good breakup songs have nothing to do with missing the other person. If they were, I'd have a much longer list for you.

There is plenty of songs that fit this, but it's a relatively unknown band who I think did the best. It's not any of the genres you mentioned, but it's BEAUTIFUL.
