It would have been an utter disaster.
Here is what would have happened.
If titanic was produced in INDIA....
1) There would be 10 times as many people on the ship.
2) There would be a song with Kate Winslet in a white saree and of course singing in the rain
3) The movie would be called "Pyar Kiya To Marna Kya"
4) Hero and Heroine would float in cold water for days and still survive, but the villian would die on the first dip
5) The iceberg would be sent by the heroine's father to teach the hero a lesson
6) None of the women would float due to heavy designer sarees.
7) Himesh Reshammiya could not use his nose to sing as his nose would be running due to the cold weather condition. And last but not least
8) More Than Half of the rescue boats would be reserved for SC/ST/OBC

1. Who would star in it? Hrithik Roshan & Asin 2. What similarities/differences would there be between the original and remake? Same story as it is in the original movie with Indian taste 3. Would there be any songs and dancing? Yes, can't imagine Indian movie without songs, AR Rahman would be the composer 4. Who would direct it? Sanjay L. Bansali 5. What else would there be to it, so it would be a total Indian movie? Indian supporting cast including Rajpal Yadav with a little cameo in comic role . . . and a very touching hindi song like "My heart will go on"

Instead of a lot of death a lot more will be saved and only a few will be died. The realty will not be there.
