When people mention Guns N Roses they never mention that theyre a supergroup> They pretty much are just La Guns mixed with Hollywood Rose. Just like VR is STP mixed with GNR.If theyre not does anybody think they should be?

They never really were a supergroup. They just had one really successful album and then began disintegrating due to Axl Rose's unprofessional behavior. They were pretty much gone by the mid-1990s. The common definition of a supergroup is one that is formed by well-known musicians. I would say that one example of a supergroup today would be Velvet Revolver. Not only does it have three former members of Guns N' Roses but also Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots.

No, a "supergroup" refers to a collection of musicians already made famous by their association with other groups, or as solo artists. The paradigmatic example is the Travellin' Wilburys.

No, they are not. For one, because they are gone now and true supergroups are still together. Axl is a nutjob, he stole Robert Plant's vocal style, and I hate GNR.
