We receive a invoice recpt from Yahoo with a invoice number. The invoice says we need to send the money to Yahoo Finance through Western Union. I look on Yahoo and it says we can make this transaction. The seller says he open a transaction case to use Yahoo for this transaction, how do we know for sure if this is legit?

Then tell him no.

Once money is sent by Western Union, it is gone! In fact, there should be signs in any Western Union office and on their web site saying DON'T SEND MONEY TO PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW PERSONALLY.

Go to pick up the car. Bring cash. If the car is as advertised, write up the bill of sale, have the title signed over, and give him the cash.

Do not send your money. We started doing business online and was surprised to received deals to buy the products and the purchasers wanted to send money order, official checks thru Western unions. When we checked their I.P. addresses, some of them were blacklisted as scammers.

Watch out!!! There are always tell tale signs in the deal. Never fall for them when they sound too good to be true. Scammers are all over the internet. Beware!!!

Please be careful, is clear that you got a scam, this guy will steal your money, if you will send money to anyone, use paypal, or any credit card, if you submit a best offer in ebay and the sell accept the offer then you have to buy the car, but, go to ebay, sing in to your account, you will see if you won the car, then get the payment address of the seller, if the guy have at least 35 feedback you may trust a Little bit to him, but still be care full, wester union sucks, NEVER use it, if the seller still no offering you a safe payment option, then offer to use escrow.com, you can trust escrow, you can have ebay recommendation using the live help at the top of any ebay motors page, ALL COMMUNICATION WITH EBAY SELLER MAY BE WITH EBAY MESSAGES SERVICES, for that you may have to sign in your ebay account.

Please read the eBay payment page

http://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/questions/what-payment-methods.html

Says to use PAYPAL

and NOT use wire transfers because thieves use wire transfers and there is NO way to get your $$$ back after you pay but NO item is sent to you .

Do Not know where on Yahoo (except a phony email) that it would say that ,
Although lots of very stupid people have sent $$$ Western Union and Never seen it again or the merchandise .

READ the eBay warning . . .

scam. have you ever by no skill study any of the warnings approximately this kind of scam? there's no automobile. in case you deliver any money it rapidly disappears alongside with the "supplier". Ebay by no skill acts as an escrow provider. The absurdly low cost which comprise loose transport could have been the 1st clue it fairly is a hoax.

To me, it does not sound legit. Western union cant be traced if you are ripped off. Never buy a car if you have not seen it in person. Chances are...there really is NO car at all.

It's not.. Yahoo and eBay aren't connected. Let me guess, when you send the money, it has to go to Nigeria right?
