You should pull over. I know that in Iraq during one of our patrols, we actually came to a halt during an Iraqi funeral procession. Trust me when I say that it was the smart thing to do during the time. Especially due to the anti-American sentiment. They in kind acknowledged our respect for their dead.
P.S.
These were not "insurgents." These were regular civilians.

pull over. i can take a few minutes out of my hectic life to pay respect to that persons life and the family they left behind.
if i can with the caos i live in there isnt any reason others cant do the same.
i also turn down the radio. i think it is so rude to be in the procesion and some jerk has his stereo blaring.

In Kansas, it is a state law. If you don't, you can get a ticket, and a $100 fine.
I always pull over...out of respect for the deceased. And I want others to do the same for me, when I die.

I tend to pull to the left, let it pass, and send out a few thoughts to the people in the procession.

Pull off into another street. I want to keep moving along, but won't show a lack of respect.

Wow, I had no idea that you're supposed to pull over out of respect! Now that I know, I'll pull over from now on.
