Absolutely!

When ever I imagine being in a band, it is often about performing inpromptu little gigs - or rehersals that turn into gigs - with a non-paying audience around.

Playing music really is about enjoying what you do, not about money!

I would as well. Actually, I would probably charge a few bucks (3 or so) for charity. My regular concerts, though, would never cost over $50...and that would be for front row seats. Though I love music, I hate it when I have to pay $150 for semi-decent seats!

i would if it could still work out, and be organized. like ozzfest was free, but it the ticket buying process was confusing. i would do one of those $2.60 shows mtv used to have. but i think the band gets paid.

ok im taking this to literally. by doing a show where i dont get paid, yes i would.

I find it more meaningful when they donate the proceeds to charity. I'd rather pay to see it than a free one if that's the case.
