I like to keep mine for about 2 or 3 months, then I get sick of it and change it up

I tend to keep the one I have. I think many change theirs due to new accounts or maybe they don't plan on being around for the long haul. Just a guess. I suppose its like moving the furniture around. You get bored of things staying the same.

I keep the one I've got, but some guy suggested that we all change our avatar for Halloween, which I think is a fun idea. So don't go looking for Ms. Pumpkinhead on October 31st, cuz she won't be here!

I will keep one for a week or two sometimes longer. But I do like change my avatar and see what people think of it! :)

I tend to keep the one I have. I changed it for a day, and all the IM weirdo's kept asking all sorts of personal questions...LOL

I knew a purple Angel once, she said she had to trade her avatar in to throw someone off her track. It was one way of identifying her. Hopefully it would be safe enough for her to go back to it someday. G*d knows, she misses it!
