You said you want to stop thinking about someone you DON'T want to stop thinking about. Sounds like double talk to me. I think what you ment is: How do I stop thinking about someone that I really don't want to think about. I don't have the answer for that other than try to keep busy so you don't have time to think.

First ask yourself why you are thinking about them? Question the root. If thinking about them is causing any part of your life to suffer then it's probably not worth it. And get busy, go to new places, try something new, a new hobby or something that requires your concetration... as a last resort, if you find yourself still thinking about them, then try to imagine them doing something you really detest.

And if they are not thinking about you in the same way, then they do not deserve you, find someone better to think about who does deserve you -good luck
