I received an email saying that everyone should fly the American Flag on September 11th in remembrance of those that lost their lives that day... what about those still losing their lives every day? My flag flies 24x7 365... How bout you?

It is illuminated in the dark hours, so it is ok to keep it displayed all the time... It gets changed out on Veteran's day every year whether it needs it or not...

We fly the U.S. flag every day. My husband is a retired vet. We fly the flag for the same reason as you. This must be a military (related) tradition. We live near an area with a lot of retired military and they do the same. I do believe it is one of the easiest ways to show our support to the military every day.
We have a child in the military as well.

You should take your flag in at night.
