I am a guy, what can I dress as to go to a party wear the theme is 80's???

- robert smith of the cure from his inbetween days video, i.e. day-glo painted face and a black messed up wig (or go with a classic bob smith, red lipstick smeared all over with black eyeshadow and a messy wig)
- Stephen King carrying a stack of his 80's bestsellers (pet cemetery, cujo, etc.) or wearing a name tag that says Hello My Name is "Bestseller". Also, comb your hair down the middle and make it poofy and wear square glasses....
-MS-DOS (wear all black and draw a command line on your shirt, or fashion a monitor out of box, etc)
- any classic atari video game character, pick something cool like a shapeshifter from archon or jumpman jr
- Tootsie or Rain Main (dustin hoffman movies)
- any classic toy/cartoon: cabbage patch kid, Alf, smurf, superfriends, etc.

You could go dressed as Don Johnson from the old tv show, "Miami Vice." It would be simple to wear a suit with a t-shirt underneath, black shades and your hair feathered back. Google or Yahoo Don Johnson for more ideas. Have a great time!

Dress like Eddie Murphy did in "Raw". The whole zippered vinyl pants and jacket with one fingerless glove on your right hand. That would be awesome!
Or, dress like Duran Duran did in "The Reflex" video. The lead singer that is. When I was in high school I bought an outfit similar to his and I thought I was the coolest kid. Some people did also, others thought it was gay....rofl!!!

boy george, michael jackson, miami vice, the flock of seagulls guy, or just sport a mullet and some parachute pants. good luck & have fun.....oh yeah,,you could be jon bon jovi...theres an 80's look for sure. anything hairband.

dress like a rock star - like old Van Halen or Flock of Seagulls - requires much big hair, stripy or animal print clothes and cut up t shirts or cut up jeans...better yet - check out old Twisted Sister like Dee Snider (he was scarey - still is, even without makeup)...
