We're having a baby girl in a few months and we dont even have a clue what to name her. We like so many different names but its so hard to choose one. Any advice?

We were considering Helena.
I have a niece named Lilli and a sister in law named Johanna.
My husband is Ruben and my son is Ruben Jr.
My best friends daughters name is Arianna.
See why this is so hard?!

If you don't know where to start go through some baby name books. Write down the ones you like and get your partner to do the exact same thing.
Maybe consider close friends/family or loved ones names that you want to honor by naming your child that. You can use them as middle names or make up something that sounds similar. (ie my nanna was called Norma Louise - I was considering a girls name Norah Eloise)
Or even take someones initials and use them.
Once you have got a good list - then compare it with your partners and cross off the ones you don't like and narrow it down to the ones you both like and go from there.

I love Helena. It's weird that your husband is Ruben. My favorite girl name is Ruby Helena! I also like Helena Kate with the nickname Hattie. Other ideas..

Good Luck, I got my daughters name at the last day at the hospital..looked up at the Exit sign and named her Xzy .
I also have my nieces Xzalia,Xena,Xiomarra..my grandbaby Shanaja,China.

You pick your favorite, your husband picks his.. then you both see if the names will fit as a first and middle name you both agree on=)
When looking at names you like, say it with every word you can think of that rhymes with it, to see if she could be made fun of with that name. Think of yourself calling that same name countless times a day, and if you wouldn't tire of it.
Also, think about the child, and if SHE would like being called by that the rest of her life. Don't name her something that will ambarass her once she gets older
Ex:
Cherry Coke
Ima Pigg
Mary Christmas
Chip Monk
Stormy Knight
etc.
After thinking through them, pick one that you can see yourself hearing at her graduation, wedding, school functions, writing on Christmas Cards, Birthday party invitations, etc
If you still can't decide, wait until she is born. You'll know what to name her the moment you see her face=)

I have one you might like it is my youngest daughters name and I haven't run into anyone with that name so far. Arianna. We call her Noni for short. Her full name is Arianna Nicole Hart.
