I found this picture on the Internet, don't know who the girls are. But I love the red plants and they're in my front yard. I have no idea what they're called. Anyone know?

celosia is the botanical name. It might have many other common names that vary by region. It's an annual in Michigan, where I'm from. (zone 5)
If you like that one you might also like cockscomb and love lies bleeding. (common names)

They are called Celosia or common name Cock's combs. They are beautiful. There are two types of these plants one looks like a brain but more like a fan. Maybe type in both names and see what comes up. They are annuals that grow during the summer and must be replanted each year. Good luck. It's blocking out the common name but it is meant to be a rooster, sounds like kock's comb.

it is celosia... cockscomb is just the 'wavy' variety of celosia... they're cousins...
