I don't know about our universe being the same as a single tiny atom, but I do think that evidence suggest our universe and world is simply scaled up from that of the quantum world. If you look around at our large 4D world and universe, and think in terms of scaled up quantum laws, you see it everywhere.
Getting back to your question: if our universe is but a single atom and on one of its orbiting particles is intelligent life, could that mean that there are also the possibility of intelligent life on atoms and molecules of our world? If that is true, how would that change the way that we humans behave in our realm? Every time that physictists split an atom they may be ripping apart worlds and whole civilizations.

I don't think we have much to worry about.
A friend of ours died today of cancer. Another is hospitalized
(he is 81) about to pass.
Cease to exist? Our bodies stop functioning.
I think you are right about the Universe being the size of an atom in over all picture of what is.
Being a part of a huge beast or live body is a little much for me.
Have you ever seen the other side?
Do you know what it is like not to have a body?
Do you know how you travel with out a body?
Do you think you are different out of body than in body?
Do you believe in life after death?
Has God shown you how to pray or has mankind tried to ?
Your question is cool, now do an experiment..
For get religion, or any one else for now.
With all out desire, get on your hands and knees and ask God how to pray. (lift yourself above the doubters and desire your insights) this life is up to us James.

There are a lot of possibilites when it comes to our significance and the universe, so it's best just to not think about things and live life as best as you can.

but I personally think blackholes can create other "universes" on the "other/inside side" of them

If that were the case, then it really wouldn't change things that much. Not that it would be bad or good information to find out, just that it would be neutral information. Although I would probably say, "WOW".
