I am not sure what state you live in that requires parenting classes, but I could not agree more that both parents should be obligated to take the class. In fact, with the way things are going today and parents abusing and hurting children, I would insist that any couple who got pregnant should be forced to take classes.

This must be something new I have never heard of this.
I believe your asking this question for your boyfriend,
and if not sorry you need to stay out of it , it is between him and the kids mother.
your just a girlfriend you have no say so .
The thing is that sometimes girlfriends get in things more often to be vindictive then to be of any help, and thy start up a bunch of unnecessary crap.

But like anything unless its a law or ordered by the court I don't see how anyone can make anyone do anything.
If its a voluntary program, she does not have to volunteer to go and you cant make her.

You can take it the same day..ours was by a certain date both had to be done..not one deadline starts IF the first one takes it.

They usually give you a deadline. Its harmless really..boring but you get thru it.

depending on the state - she has up to 90 days. If she doesn't go, the judge will just re-order it...and give her more time.

i forget how many days she has - 30? or 90? their lawyers should inform them. if she doesn't take the class, she will be in contempt. so yes, it is a requirement in some u.s. states.

Butt out, it's between him and his wife you are the girlfriend...butt out! You have no say in what goes on with him and the kids. Are you trying to get custody of the kids to get her out of your life, no matter what the kids feel...I hate you ppl.
