Sometimes I'll book a flight just for that purpose.

I've been on quite a few international flights and never had "free" alcohol that I recall. But I do try to limit how much alcohol I have on a flight because it makes me retain water and by the time I get off the plane I can barely walk. Max for me is 2 glasses of red wine or I'll be sorry when I try to walk off the plane.

Drinking is fun, especially over seas. But not on an airline flight.
One or two drinks is OK but it really doesn't help the flight. I like to look out the window and watch the movies.

I once ran a Continental flight completely out of whisky.

I was making a run for the Vodka when we landed.

Not allowed to drink with this medicine I have to take.
But, I get the doctor to prescribe something for my nerves before I take any flight.

I don't sit in First Class and spend $2,500 more to get a 'free' $5 bottle of booze....

It'd be unAustralian not to! But I do try to be sensible...but, hey, alcohol affects my ability to do that. I try to drink a glass of water for every glass of alcohol- pity the water glasses are so small!
