ive tried so many things like john robert powers and others like model search america, searchcastingcall, for modeling since thats what i have always wanted to do but i dont know where to start ??all the things that i have tried are just a rip off or scams..anyone know how i could start what is my starting point to be a model?

Contact a store that holds fashion shows in your area. See what company they hire from and then contact that company.

Your modeling career begins and ends with the way you look. Do you look like a model? If you do you can be a model. If you don't you can't. The end. Send your picture to one of the very few legit modeling agencies. If you get a contract you are in business. If you don't, forget it and move on to something else. Less than one percent of the population can model. Don't feel bad if you're not one of the few. And Barbizon is another scam.

there was one modeling agency that started with a B...barbizan? i think? its always advertised in all the teen magazines...my best friend was with them for years and she loved it!
