Why is "W" called "Double U" When it makes form of a "Double V" I guess it really depends on how you write your "W's" But I use two V's. So can it be called "Double V" instead?

Haha...I do it rounded with the 2 U's...but you can do it anyway you want to Mr. Bunny...& it will be alright with me! =D

Looks like a double V to me or right side up M.

Well in Macedonian we call it "Double V" even though I write it like like two "U"s ;)

It never stumped me, i always knew that. In afrikaans it also has a "v" sound (to my knowledge i know that)
