I like highly structured poetry that forces you to think outside of the sing-songy rhyming box. I think everyone should write a Sestina at least once. I did one last month and learned a ton doing it.

I like the poetry of Robert Frost, and I like some love poems, especially if they are in the Spanish language.

I like poetry that expresses any truth about life and has a sense of music to it. It can set any emotional tone for me.

I like poetry that comes from emotion. It doesnt matter what kind of structure it has.

I like political or otherwise socially focused poetry.

My favorite medium is spoken word poetry.
